"Like a master musician, Kent composes a powerful opera with these books, beginning with an overture that sets the tone for things to come, but also hints at the majesty of the closing act."

Welcome to the Windows of Heaven web site.
The novel series by KG Powderly Jr. is a retelling of the ancient global flood apocalypse for the the 21st century in the medium of a world-creating science fiction epic. (The genre is most similar to novel series' like Frank Herbert's Dune, or Stephan Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle.)
Humanity is a race with amnesia living on a planet scarred by horrendous catastrophes that are barely remembered in our most ancient legends, myths, sacred scriptures, and “out of place” fossils, as though from the edge of a dream. Yet dreams can also be nightmares, and amnesia is born out of trauma.
Based on the Book of Genesis, the Enoch Manuscripts, Plato's Atlantis dialogues in Timaeus and Critias, and other sacred histories, legends and myths from the ancient world, The Windows of Heaven series is both character-driven and action-packed, set in a multi-dimensional world as politically and religiously complex as our own.
